France remains Europe's most attractive country but concerns about its competitiveness are growing

DECRYPTAGE - The EY barometer released this Thursday points to the sharp drop in the number of jobs created by foreign investment, partly due to the high cost of labour.

France retains its European crown and still attracts foreign investors, but it has to face increased global competition and internal challenges in 2024.

In its barometer published on Wednesday, the specialized firm EY recorded a total of 1,025 projects by foreign companies, a decrease of 14% compared to 2024.
