French President Emmanuel Macron stated that a "decisive step" was taken yesterday in the process of the peaceful integration of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) into the Syrian state, adding, "France will continue to support the transition process in Syria, respecting all components of Syria and the state's monopoly on weapons, and guided only by the unity and sovereignty of Syria."
Commenting on the dissolution of the SDF, French President Macron said, "Since the beginning of the transition process, France has played an active role in supporting this step."
