Bratislava - Portugal beat a weakened Georgia 4-0 at the European Under-21 Championship in Slovakia to top Group C. France, second in the table, also advanced to the quarter-finals after a 4-1 win over Poland. Spain drew 1-1 with Italy in the battle for first place in Group A and defended first place.
Both group C matches were played.
