In Portugal, Fradi's victory over Torreense is considered absolutely indisputable, but the 4-1 final score is considered misleading.
Ferencváros won its third match in the Europa League regular season and has not lost a game in the cup series since July. The club has never started this series so well. The Portuguese Torreense were an unpleasant opponent for a long time, but Balázs Borbély's team deserved the 4-1 victory.
Ferencváros football team is progressing in the Europa League beyond all expectations. Balázs Borbély's team defeated Portuguese cup winner Torreense 4-1 at the Groupama Arena on Thursday evening, thus remaining unbeaten in the main table of the second European cup series. The green-whites are in fourth place in the table after three rounds, while in terms of frame value they are in the bottom third of the field.
Carlos Simoes says the 4-1 final score is a deceptive one. The post “Anyone who saw the match could hardly tell which team was the multiple champion,” said the Portuguese coach after the match against Fradi first appeared on 24.hu.
