Ferencváros reached the Hungarian Cup final for the third time in a row.
Ferencváros drew 2-2 with ETO FC Győr in regular time, then won 3-2 in a penalty shootout after extra time.
In the second semi-final of the Hungarian Football Cup, Ferencváros and ETO were once again in tension after their league clash last Sunday, but this time Robbie Keane's team was able to rejoice in the end. After a 2-2 draw in regular time, the penalty shootout decided the outcome, with the home team winning the shootout 3-2.
This semi-final was also decided by a penalty shootout.
FTC, which started with ten legionnaires, couldn't handle Győr either, but after a huge drama, they still reached the cup final - without the feats of Dénes Dibusz, the record champions probably wouldn't have even reached the shootout, but this way they can prepare for the cup final.
