The Portuguese race, which will have as its stage the Algarve International Autodrome (AIA), in Portimão, will arise between the races of Monaco, scheduled for 06 June, and of Great Britain, scheduled for 04 July.
Portugal will take the test, at the Algarve International Autodrome, six years later. Turkey will also be on the calendar for the next season.

Six years after hosting for the last time one of the Grand Prixs of the world's largest motor racing competition, the Algarve International Autodrome is preparing to receive the 22 singles on its track.
The Grand Prix de Portugal returns to the Algarve International Autodrome and will have a new race in 2028. Tickets begin to be sold on 21 September. Formula 1 content returns to Portimão between 18 and 20 June 2027 appears first in Barlavento.
The Grand Prix of Portugal is confirmed for June 2027, six years after the last Formula 1 race in the Algarve.
