SPÖ-Grande Peter Kostelka died

Peter Kostelka, head of the SPÖ pensionists, passed away surprisingly on Thursday.

Peter Kostelka died today at the age of 78. The Carinthian also served as a clubobmann and folk lawyer.

Until the last time Peter Kostelka was active, with him the SPÖ loses a profound lawyer. The Carinthian became 78 years old.

Peter Kostelka, former SPÖ-Klubobmann, State Secretary and most recently Chairman of the Pensionist Association, died surprisingly two weeks before his 79th birthday. The SPÖ mourns for a committed fighter. Peter Kostelka was a PhD lawyer, born Carinthian – and passionate social democrat. The pensioners lose a great personality with him with a great deal of understanding of their problems. Peter Weller, chairman of PEKABE, is deeply affected by the death of the long-term president: "Peter Kostelka was an excellent representative for all seniors, with great understanding of their concerns and always had an open ear for the various topics. His social commitment and his struggle for justice were known beyond party boundaries.
