Former Santa Anita track superintendent Ron Moore dies at 80

Former Santa Anita track superintendent Ron Moore passed away Friday morning at age 80 from complications of a recent stroke. Moore, along with his father, brother and nephew, are synonymous with Southern California horse racing, their ties going back more than seven decades.
