Two former bosses of the weekly, as well as a historical cartoonist and his wife, are tried from Tuesday 8 July before the court in Paris for abuses of social property and fictitious employment to the detriment of the newspaper.
Initially scheduled for October 8, the trial of alleged fictitious employment within the satirical weekly is scheduled to open on July 8 at the judicial court in Paris. On the bench of the accused is expected the cartoonist André Escaro, 97 years old.
