BBC Star Facing Police Probe Amid Sexual Assault Allegations
Detectives say the woman was interviewed under caution in May and no arrests have been made as enquiries continue.
The Metropolitan Police interviewed a former BBC presenter under caution on Thursday, 14 May, regarding allegations of sexual assault against a woman in Stratford between September 2005 and December 2006.
Allegations center on unwanted sexual touching on set around 20 years ago, with the complainant reportedly having worked alongside the presenter or appeared as a contestant on the programme.
The presenter was reportedly "stunned" following his interview and firmly denies all allegations of unwanted sexual touching made against him.
Enquiries remain ongoing with no arrests made at this stage, while the complainant continues to be supported by officers throughout the investigation.
The BBC stated the accused worked for an independent production company, while the case was referred to the Met from another police force.
