A forest fire that started in Menteşe district of Muğla and spread to Ula district is being tackled from the air and land. Meanwhile, it has been reported that the intensity of the forest fire in Serik district of Antalya has been reduced.
Intensive air and land response to forest fires that started in Antalya Serik and Muğla Menteşe continues. While the energy of the fire in Serik was reduced towards morning, a large number of teams, including 13 helicopters and 7 aircraft, were mobilized for the wind-spread flames in Hinge.

While the fire in Serik district of Antalya has been largely brought under control and its intensity reduced, a relentless battle has begun in Menteşe district of Muğla with a new wave of flames triggered by the wind.

While strong winds in the region are making the fight against the flames more difficult, a forestry worker affected by smoke during the operations in Serik was taken to the hospital.
