A large forest farm near the capital of Albania forced the removal of residents from various villages on the night of the earthquake.
Residents were removed from their homes in Kruja, Albania, during the weekend, while firefighter teams were fighting to prevent a large forest fire from hitting the city. More than 200 firefighters and dozens of vehicles were mobilized on Saturday (8) to contain the flames. Efforts were made difficult by the steep terrain surrounding the city, which made access difficult and, in many places, impossible.
