Latin America and the Caribbean received a total of $188,962 million in foreign direct investment (FDI) in 2024, representing an increase of 7.1 per cent over 2023, the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (Cepal) said on Thursday.
Despite this growth, the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean warned about the stagnation of new investments in the region.
