HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley is hosting its Empty Bowls Paint Party kickoff on Aug. 23. Attendees can paint bowls, enjoy food, and music. The painted bowls will be used at the Empty Bowls event in October, which aims to raise awareness about food insecurity.
