Follow the build-up and action as Albion face Man City at the Etihad

Manchester City hosts Brighton & Hove Albion at the Etihad Stadium tonight, Wednesday, October 28, 2026, in the Carabao Cup fourth round, with Manager Enzo Maresca rotating his squad.
Following Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa, Maresca confirmed he would make changes for this cup tie, as City has conceded nine times across their last four matches.
Key starters including Erling Haaland and Ruben Dias will not feature, while Geronimo Rulli starts in goal and Marc Guehi captains a side featuring Phil Foden and Mateo Kovacic.
Brighton head coach Fabian Hürzeler has made seven changes following Sunday's 2-0 loss at Liverpool; Pascal Gross will skipper the Seagulls for this first of two meetings in four days.
The Seagulls have never beaten their hosts away from home in 17 previous attempts, while City, having won the EFL Cup nine times, look to advance to the quarter-finals.
