Flay Dubai announced that its flights to Tel Aviv would be suspended until further notice, at the request of the competent authorities. The decision followed the incident of the company ' s aircraft, which was travelling from Dubai to Tel Aviv, and witnessed a suspected attempt by the Omani pilot ' s assistant to control the aircraft, before it could land in Saudi Arabia.
Israeli officials are set to question the co-pilot of Flydubai as part of an investigation into possible terrorism and third-party orders, marking a serious investigation into flight safety and possible involvement of outside actors.
United Arab Emirates (UAE) airline Flydubai has temporarily suspended its flights to Tel Aviv until further notice following the incident on September 30.
