ICE Officer Arrested in Florida Keys, Accused of DUI and Child Endangerment
Scott Thomas Deiseroth was charged with DUI and child endangerment after deputies found him intoxicated with two children in his car, police said.
- On Wednesday, deputies arrested Florida Man, claiming to be an ICE agent, for DUI near Mile Marker 36.5 with children in his car.
- Monroe County Sheriff's Office officials said a motorist called 911 shortly before 3:30 p.m. to report a pickup swerving heavily into oncoming traffic near Mile Marker 40 on the Seven Mile Bridge.
- Deputies noted Deiseroth appeared disoriented, gave incorrect directions, and breathalyzer tests showed blood-alcohol levels of.170 and.174, more than twice the legal limit of.08 in Florida.
- Deiseroth faces an August 22, 2025, arraignment and an Aug. 21, 2025, hearing before Judge Mark Wilson; his ICE supervisor was notified.
- Amid standard child welfare protocol, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office lists his occupation as an ICE agent, and his claim to be an ICE agent is under investigation.
