Hydrological forecasts updated as of Thursday, July 3, indicate that the level of the Uruguay River downstream of the Salto Grande Dam has reached its peak (maximum value) of the current extraordinary flood. These levels will remain at this level for an estimated two to five days before beginning a gradual decline. The Salto Grande reservoir is also at maximum levels, and a slow decline is expected in the coming days.
