Amid flash floods in Nepal and a sharp rise in the flow of the Gandak river, Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary today held a high-level emergency review meeting. He directed the respective district administrations to be on high alert and complete all preparations immediately to deal with possible floods. The death toll due to floods in Nepal has risen to 95. In this context, high alert has been sounded in the bordering Indian states as well.
