Flag lowered in memory of former councillor
The flag at City Hall in Belleville has been lowered to half-mast in honour of the passing of former City Councillor Frank Seemungal. Seemungal passed away last week at the age of 95. He served on Belleville City Council from 1975 to 1985 and was described by city officials as a ‘champion’ in the community. The city extends condolences to Seemungal’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. A celebration of life is planned for July 11.
