jauns.lvAt the end of August, the Internal Security Bureau (ISB) detained five officials employed in the traffic safety supervision area of the State Police (SP) Response Department on suspicion of accepting a bribe. They accepted a bribe from foreign truck drivers for failing to register administrative violations committed while supervising road transport, the ISB informed LETA.
The IDB indicates that the criminal offense was discovered in cooperation with the VP.
