FirstService: Q3 Earnings Snapshot – WTOP News

The hotel franchisor cited stronger U.S. demand and a 4% larger development pipeline as it lifted full-year guidance.

  • On Wednesday, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts reported third-quarter revenue of $410 million, a 7% year-over-year increase, as U.S. RevPAR surged 6%. The company raised its full-year outlook for RevPAR, adjusted EBITDA, and earnings per share.
  • President and Chief Executive Officer Geoff Ballotti attributed the performance to "broad-based U.S. RevPAR growth" and market share gains. The company expanded its global system and pipeline by 4% while deploying artificial intelligence "at scale across all guest touchpoints."
  • Wyndham returned $123 million to shareholders in Q3, including $91 million through share repurchases, a 30% year-over-year increase. The Board of Directors approved an additional $400 million share repurchase authorization.
  • The global development pipeline reached a record high of approximately 264,000 rooms across over 2,200 hotels, with roughly 78% consisting of new construction. Approximately 35% of these projects have broken ground.
  • Looking toward Q4, Ballotti noted that October month-to-date RevPAR remained consistent with third-quarter results, reinforcing confidence in underlying demand trends as the company closes out 2026.
