First-year teacher begins career at Lansing school - The Leavenworth Times

Jared Parsons was an active member of the high school student body while growing up in Atchison. He played football, basketball and baseball and participated in band and choir before matriculating to Pittsburg State University. These days, the 22-year-old is embarking on his first year as a teacher in the Lansing school district.
