WINONA, Minn. — A Winona deputy is the first to formally enter the county's sheriff race. Charles Rolbiecki is running on a community-involved law enforcement platform. He joined the Winona County Sheriff's Office in 2007. Rolbiecki ran against incumbent Ron Ganrude in 2022. Ganrude announced he would not seek re-election earlier this year.
