First Look: Jenna Ortega Appears For Interview On Monday's "Late Night With Seth Meyers"
- On Monday, actress Jenna Ortega attended the New York City premiere of Klara And The Sun at the Crosby Street Hotel, joined by co-star Amy Adams and director Taika Waititi.
- Based on Kazuo Ishiguro's novel, the Taika Waititi-directed sci-fi film stars Ortega as Klara, a solar-powered humanoid robot designed to prevent loneliness in an alternative future where genetic engineering divides society.
- Critics have panned the adaptation, which holds a 25% 'rotten' score on the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer based on 12 reviews; reviewers labeled it 'calamitous' and 'a sentimental and laborious mess'.
- Despite negative reviews, Ortega appeared on LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS on Monday alongside guest Ina Garten, as the cast continues promoting the film.
- The film, which also stars Steve Buscemi and Natasha Lyonne, opens in theaters on October 23, 2026, as the promotional campaign continues.
