Aardman’s Pokémon Show Is a Delightful-Looking Romp that Follows Sirfetch'd and Pichu
UNITED KINGDOM, JUL 22 – The stop-motion series will feature Pokemon adventures from their perspective and is a collaboration praised as a dream partnership by The Pokemon Company and Aardman.
- On July 22, 2025 Pokémon Presents livestream revealed ‘Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d and Pichu’, reflecting the collaboration with Aardman Animations.
- Late last year the collaboration was announced, Taito Okiura said `This is a dream partnership for Pokémon. Aardman are masters of their craft`.
- A playful snippet depicts Sirfetch’d and Pichu in playful shenanigans as an oblivious Wooloo relaxes, set in the Galar region.
- Also revealed was Netflix’s release date for Pokémon Concierge season 2 on September 4, 2025, and the first trailer premiered alongside the teaser.
- Looking ahead the stop-motion series is scheduled to premiere in 2027, though no streaming platform has been attached yet.
