Like every year, people are also traveling to places like Belgium to stock up on illegal fireworks. The police in Brabant are fed up with this and have, for the first time, deployed drones to catch these people.
In the lead-up to New Year's Eve, police conducted a major checkpoint at the Belgian border near Roosendaal on Saturday.
