Firefox 155 Ships Faster Connections and AI Browsing Option as Mozilla Tests Two-Week Release Cycle
Firefox 155 brings Happy Eyeballs v3 and QUIC v2 for faster page loads, Smart Window AI browsing in three countries, container reordering, tracker counts in the address bar, and numerous developer improvements to CSS, WebAssembly and WebTransport. Mozilla also begins a two-week release cycle with this version. The update includes targeted Linux fixes and enterprise controls.
Firefox 155 introduces new features and improvements for developers as in each version:- on the DevTools part: possibility to disable a breakpoint in the debugger with a keyboard backup- HTML: no change- CSS: the attr() function can be used in all CSS properties. The progress() function is supported as well as alpha() and font-width- JavaScript: static methods Promise.allKeyed and Promise.
