During the three days of Christmas, firefighters had to intervene in 413 cases: 116 fires had to be extinguished, 77 residential buildings caught fire, 15 were called out because of carbon monoxide, and 297 were technical rescues. According to their report, firefighters were called to fewer cases this year than last Christmas, when they intervened 632 times.
