On Wednesday, a fire broke out in a mobile home in Elsa, Edcouch’s Fire Department reported. Authorities reported that a man was injured, with second-degree burns on his back and hands, so he received medical attention. So far, the cause of the fire is unknown. From last Saturday to date, at least 10 fires have occurred in homes in the Rio Grande Valley due mainly, according to the authorities, to the inadequate use of heating systems.
