Firefighters battling extra-alarm blaze in Austin
Firefighters were battling a 2-11 blaze early Wednesday at a building in Austin on the West Side. The fire broke out sometime before 5 a.m. in the 5000 block of West Lake Street, according to the Chicago Fire Department. No Green Line trains are running between Ashland/Lake and Harlem/Lake due to the fire, CTA said in an alert.No injuries were initially reported. No further information was immediately available.
