Firefighter injured after being struck by car near Gastonia

GASTONIA, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A Gaston County firefighter was struck by a car overnight Wednesday while responding to a fallen tree.  According to the New Hope Fire Department, the incident occurred near the intersection of Union New Hope Road and Rowe Street southeast of Gastonia.
