Fire destroys school in East Ruimveldt center ground compound

A fire on Saturday afternoon destroyed a building which housed a school situated in the compound of the East Ruimveldt Community Center ground in Georgetown. Reports are that the fire started around 17:00 hrs. Firefighters were summoned and they managed to extinguish the blaze.
