Fire destroys Alvord home
An Alvord home was destroyed in a fire Sunday morning. The structure fire was reported around 5:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Wickham Street. It was fully involved when firefighters made scene. Alvord Fire Chief Heather Redder said that the house will likely be deemed a total loss. “The house is still standing, but by the looks of it, it will be a total loss,” Redder said.
