Around 100 firefighters battling huge blaze in London
Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters are tackling the blaze, while train operators warn of delays and diversions through London Bridge.
On Monday, 15 fire engines and around 100 firefighters responded to a major blaze at a recycling centre on Landmann Way in Bermondsey, south London.
Control Officers received the first of multiple emergency calls at 5.32pm, prompting the LFB to mobilize crews from Deptford, Old Kent Road, and Greenwich to the scene.
Firefighters deployed two 32-metre turntable ladders to tackle the blaze from above, while the LFB advised residents to "keep their windows and doors closed" due to the significant amount of smoke.
Rail services around London Bridge are experiencing major disruption; Thameslink suspended services between London Bridge and Dartford while Southeastern Railway diverted trains via "alternate routes" to London Victoria.
Passengers are advised to allow at least 45 minutes of extra journey time on affected routes as firefighters remain at the scene working to bring the fire under control.
