On Sunday, 24 August, an individual house burned in Vauvert at around 1 p.m., but the fire was stopped by the firefighters of the Gard. Thus, the fire mainly affected the garage and roof of the house. The area's fire surveillance patrol carried out the first precautionary measures before being supported by additional reinforcements. The two residents and their neighbour were taken care of by the medical aid.
