'Finally got it done for this program': New Hartford football claims Section III title

Johnny Vitullo threw three touchdown passes and Niko Martinez found the end zone a total of three times as New Hartford powered to a 37-14 win over Syracuse ITC in the Section III Class B title game Saturday at the JMA Wireless Dome. The Spartans had come up short in the section III title game each of the last two seasons. It is the seventh title for New Hartford and first since 2008.
