For the fourth time this year, Alsace faces a heat wave. The last episode left traces at the Elsau arrest house in Strasbourg, with temperatures sometimes reaching 40 °C in cells, overheating parlors and an exacerbation of psychiatric disorders. Monday 27 July, the deputy of Bas-Rhin Emmanuel Fernandes (LFI) visited the site as part of his unannounced right of visit to observe the conditions of imprisonment of the detainees.
