Mass Egg Recall over Salmonella Concerns Expands, FDA Says

- Retailers reported the recalled 12-Count Pasture Raised cartons were sold in Houston; Texas-based Kenz Henz recalled 12-count packages sourced from Black Sheep with best-by dates Aug. 22, 2025 through Oct. 31, 2025.
- Federal officials said products may have been further distributed to other states, so the recall advisory will be updated as additional items are identified; the FDA said there is no information suggesting an ongoing outbreak.
- The FDA labeled the recall Class I, its highest risk category meaning the product could cause serious injury or death, and it covers at least six states.
