Authorities have arrested two brothers accused of having ties to a darknet vendor that sold counterfeit oxycodone pills containing potent synthetic opioids, following an investigation launched after a fatal overdose in Arlington, Virginia.
Vladislav, 35, and Stanislav Chernyshov, 35, brothers living in America, were arrested after a death from an overdose in Arlington led to the raising of federal ones.
Two brothers from Florida Jacksonville were arrested on 28 August in a case of conspiracy to distribute natesens, synthetic opioids comparable to fentanyl and, in some cases, capable of exceeding its capacity, reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia.
