On Sunday, November 2, 2025, Archbishop Ioannis of Tirana, Durrës, and All Albania attended the funeral of former Prime Minister of Albania, Fatos Nano. The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Albania was accompanied by Metropolitan Asti of Berat, Vlora, and Kanina.
