- More than 11,000 people were evacuated in Andalusia, nearly 170 roads closed and rail services disrupted, while authorities issued orange alerts for gusts up to 110 km/h, waves of five to seven metres, and snow levels around 900 metres.
- Portugal mobilised more than 26,500 rescuers and postponed Sunday’s presidential vote in three municipalities, while Prime Minister Luis Montenegro said provisional damage exceeded four billion euros and Spain’s Pedro Sanchez held a crisis meeting.
