FARGO — A longtime Fargo lawmaker has been hospitalized following a stroke in Bismarck. A chaplain who prayed over the North Dakota House during its Wednesday, April 23, floor session asked God to lift Rep. BISMARCK, N.D. — Republican State Representative Jim Kasper of Fargo has been hospitalized. North Dakota Republican Party Chairwoman Sandi Sanford says Kasper had a stroke during the night that impacted his right side. His family traveling to Bismarck to be with him. Kasper has served in the House since 2001.
