The number of far-right acts continued to increase in the first half of the year. Compared to the previous year, they increased by almost ten percent to 862 in the first six months (1st half of the year 2025: 787), according to a request from Interior Minister Gerhard Karner (ÖVP) to SPÖ MP Sabine Schatz. Thus, the first half of the year was in the trend of the past years. If 1,208 were registered in 2023, it was 2024 1,486 and last year 1,986.
