Around 5000 sirens are crying this Wednesday throughout Switzerland. This annual test is to show if the sirens are reliably alarming.

The traditional sirens test will take place on Wednesday, February 4, and around 5000 sirens will sound throughout Switzerland between 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. This will also be an opportunity to check the delivery of messages via the Alertswiss app.
At 13:58 a siren alarm was triggered in Suhr near Aarau. It was a false alarm, as Alertswiss reported. There was no danger.
