ExxonMobil Raises Guyana Oil Capacity To 900,000 Barrels Per Day
GUYANA, AUG 8 – The ONE GUYANA FPSO adds 250,000 barrels per day capacity, lifting total offshore production in Guyana above 900,000 barrels, supporting long-term growth and local workforce involvement.
- On August 8, 2025, ExxonMobil Guyana Limited initiated production at Yellowtail, the fourth development in the offshore Stabroek block.
- Earlier this year, SBM Offshore’s FPSO ONE GUYANA builds on the consortium’s track record as the fourth and largest FPSO deployment, following three successful units in 2025.
- Boasting an annual average of 250,000 barrels per day, FPSO ONE GUYANA is spread moored in about 1,800 meters of water depth.
- The vessel joins Destiny, Unity and Prosperity FPSOs, lifting installed capacity above 900,000 barrels per day, with over 2,000 local businesses engaged and more than 67% of the workforce Guyanese.
- By 2030, ExxonMobil Guyana Limited expects to reach 1.7 million barrels per day, with Guyana’s government revenues projected to hit $10 billion annually.
