The mayor of Lévis recently asked for a meeting with his vis-à-vis Quebec City to gauge the interest in a cable car over the St. Lawrence River. The idea was not new and had even been mentioned in the CDPQ Infra report.
Steven Blaney is active behind the scenes for his "fourth link" to come to light. The Sun has learned that the Mayor of Lévis recently held several private meetings to brag about the idea of a cable car between Lévis and Quebec City.
"The mayor and his team explore the idea of an urban cable car to connect the two banks. The solution discussed would aim at a route of downtown Lévis, near the shopping center Les Galeries Chagnon, to the tramway of Quebec via air cabins."
