Ex-wife of drug dealer jailed over his death in 'barbaric' acid attack
Paris Wilson was jailed for nine years after prosecutors said she helped set up the attack that left Danny Cahalane dead and led to life terms for two men.
- On Friday, Paris Wilson, 35, was sentenced to nine years in prison at Winchester Crown Court for manslaughter and attempted kidnapping in the acid attack death of her ex-husband, Danny Cahalane, 38.
- Prosecutors established that Wilson orchestrated the February 21, 2025, assault to help settle a £120,000 drug debt owed by Cahalane to crime boss Ryan Kennedy, known as Frost. Judge Heather Norton described Wilson's plot as "calculated but not sophisticated."
- A 15-week trial confirmed Cahalane died 10 weeks after the February 21, 2025, attack from corrosive burns. Judge Norton noted he suffered "significant corrosive injuries that had he survived would have been life-changing."
- Abdul-Rasheed Adedoja and Israel Augustus received life sentences with minimum terms of 29 years and 255 days and 28 years and 210 days respectively, while Ramarnee Bakas-Sithole was jailed for 10 years for manslaughter.
- Detective Superintendent Rachael Bentley of the Major Crime Investigation Team said "organised crime has no place in our community" and pledged to target offenders "regardless of where they stand in the chain of command.
