A former Maryland youth detention staffer has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing 11 boys at a state-run juvenile facility. Ronald Neverdon entered his plea in a Baltimore County courtroom. The prosecution is recommending a sentence of 30 years in prison with all but 10 years suspended. Neverdon held various positions at the Charles Hickey School before retiring in 2013. He was arrested in March of 2025. Sentencing is scheduled for September.
