'What the [Expletive] Is Your Problem?' Noah Gragson Confronts Kevin Magnussen After San Diego Race
Gragson said Magnussen hooked his car and ended his race, then the two exchanged curse words after the checkered flag.
- Former Formula driver Kevin Magnussen and Noah Gragson, a Cup Series racer for Front Row Motorsports, engaged in a heated confrontation on Sunday following the Anduril 250 at Naval Base Coronado after Gragson alleged Magnussen wrecked him during the 75-lap race.
- On the 38th lap, Magnussen hooked Gragson's right rear quarter panel, sending his Ford spinning into the wall off turn 4 at the first NASCAR event ever held on an active military installation.
- The two drivers went back and forth for about 80 seconds hurling curse words, with Gragson stating, "The 91 just kept erring off in there, then hit me again and ended our day."
- Magnussen finished 27th in the race and dismissed Gragson's complaint, telling him to "Get out of my face" and claiming Gragson "could have had a good race, but he chose not to."
- The 33-year-old Magnussen competed in Formula 1 for 10 years and holds the record for most points scored on debut in 2014, while the 27-year-old Gragson remains winless in the Cup Series despite 13 victories in lower series.
